Sale of two 60 meters Damen Pontoons
Recently we were involved in the sale of two Damen Stan Pontoons 6020 (60x20 mtrs), owned and operated by Damen Marine Services B.V.
Both pontoons were built in 2015 and have been part of the chartering fleet ever since.
The new owner, GPS Marine Contractors Ltd, inspected the vessels at Damen Shipyards in Mangalia, Romania. As both had just been completely refurbished after the latest charter, the buyers found them to be in great condition. The pontoons will be towed by owner’s own Damen Shoalbuster 2709 ‘GPS Avenger’ from Romania to London, UK.
We expect both heavy-duty pontoons to be of added value to the new owners’ growing fleet of Damen vessels and barges. Also special thanks to Mr Paul Verschure of Dutch Marine for his assistance during the whole transaction.
