Starting the first half 2011, Fratelli Neri of Livorno will amongst other activities, take care of the transportation of the crew from and to the floating LNG storage and production vessel offshore Livorno (OLT project).

In order to have a dedicated vessel for these services a contract has been signed with Damen Shipyards Gorinchem for the building and delivery of a Damen Stan Tender 1905.

The Damen Stan Tender 1905 is one of the standard type vessels dedicated for crew transfers.

Since it is the Damen philosophy of building various ships types on speculation, the hull of the vessel could be taken from the stock.

Due to this, the vessel will be ready for delivery before the end of 2010 after which she will be shipped to Livorno, starting operations early 2011.
