For the ever growing need of crude and because of its rising price, development of wells in deep water is becoming more common every day. To keep up with the pace of developments in that sense, the requirements for its support industry are getting more stringent. Deeper wells usually are at a bigger distance offshore. Hence a vessel that can carry a relatively big load at high speed, while offering a 'comfortable ride' to its crew and passengers can make a huge difference in this demanding industry. The soon to be delivered Fast Crew Supplier 5009 offers all this. With a capacity for 250 ton load and 80 passengers at a speed of 25 knots, this new vessel will be the new working horse of the industry. The newly developed 'axe bow' dramatically reduces vertical accelerations, improving the uptime and comfort of the vessel.
